Still alive, still drawing.

Sadly, much of what I've been working on hasn't been of the sort I could show all y'all. Different characters are sort of secrets within their stories, and I am always a little nervous that someone who knows the story will make a comment that gives things away. Even something as innocuous as "Oh, is this [insert character name]?" or "hiss, I hate her" makes me cringe a little.

Then again, anyone who might feel tempted enough to leave such remarks probably knows me well enough to be aware that I am ferociously, inordinately, perhaps even inappropriately, obsessive about leaked information that could in some remote way be construed as a "spoiler." I like my potential readers to know as little about my story as possible before I present it to them personally. I like to be able to control exactly how everything is presented to them so that their first experience can be unmarred, untainted, unprejudiced. As I have oft said, you only get to experience something for the first time once. I have had this experience spoiled for me in too many painful ways to yield it up for others.

Naturally, others may not be as sensitive about this information as I myself am, and may not even care particularly. Also, it does strike me as slightly conceited to consider my own work worthy of such a high level of leak-protection. Oh well.

I hadn't meant for this to turn into any post of length. I mainly wanted to say something because I hadn't in about two years, and that was far, far too long. So hello. I'm no longer in Germany. That was over a year ago now. I've been doing some college stuff, and drawing things I can't show you. The end.

You will probably be seeing more of me. I hope that makes you excited.

Didn't see this! Sorry!

And yeah, I sometimes forget I'm talking in German these days. Which doesn't mean my German is good, mind you. I still make multitudes of grammatical errors, and my vocabulary is nothing to be proud of. Heh.
