Well, J-chan, it might not have been what I wanted to have done, but at least I have something to put up on your birthday.
This is sort of a character design sheet for my three main Darjeeling Blend characters, who all need re-naming for various reasons. The top is She-who-is-currently-Lo, followed by Veronica (which will probably stay, but she was formerly known as Meryl.) And finally Kyon, who also needs something new.
They're dancing to the song "Vertigo" by U2, because I thought that would be fun. Again, the lines from top to bottom are:
"The night is full of holes, as bullets rip the sky of ink with gold, they twinkle as the boys play rock and roll, they know that they can't dance, at least they know.
"I can't stand the beats, I'm asking for my check, the girl with crimson nails, has Jesus round her neck, swinging to the music, swinging to the music.
"Hello, hello (hola), I'm at a place called Vertigo, it's everything I wish I didn't know but you give me something I can feel... Feel!"
Anyway, that was just me quoting from memory. If you think I got it wrong, look up the song, and grooooove to it, baby!
And yes, I do actually sort of do some of that stuff when I listen to my music.

I love these kind of dance scenes--there's just so much expression in them! Somehow, there's just something about dancing that exposes a character like little else. Perhaps the degree of abandon required?
